| Son of soil ‘Dogra’ appointed ‘Brand Ambassador’ to Kennedy Space Centre | | | Early Times Report
Jammu Feb 23: Internationally famed Sitar mastero and music therapist Raj Kumar Dogra, a son of soil has brought laurels to state and to the nation when he got a distinguished rank of becoming ‘Brand Ambassador’ to Kennedy Space Centre, NASA USA. According to a press statement issued today this has been intimated to the Embassy of the United States at New Delhi through an official letter Dt. February 15, 2012 and addressed to the Consular Officer by Angie DeLoach-Morales, Sales Director, Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex that they had appointed ‘Brand Ambassador’ to Kennedy Space Centre, NASA USA. Angie DeLoach-Morales Sales Director, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex through her communication to New Delhi Counselor appreciating Raj Kumar Dogra stated that we are happy to have the opportunity to work with Rajkumar Dogra eminent personality from India.
“Mr Dogra has been appointed as a Brand Ambassador for exploring the young mind to make their career in space and Aeronautics by organizing camps and workshops in school and to select the enterprising students in the age group 11-17yrs the students will be selected and ensuring their participation in international space camp being organized by NASA in summer -2012, stated the statement from USA
Pertinent to mention here that Gold medalist from Institute of Music and Fine Arts Jammu Raj Kumar Dogra has acquired his distinction as an internationally renowned sitar meditation music therapy Guru and musicologist. He has many awards and fellowships including Indian Pearls Award 2011 in his credit. Besides this he has performed in India and as well as abroad including Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, United Kingdom, North America etc. |
