| Two arrested with 180 intoxicant capsules | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua, Feb 24: Continuing its drive against drug peddlers/persons indulging in illegal trade of distillation of illicit liquor, the Kathua Police today arrested two persons and recovered 473 intoxicant capsules from their possession in separate incidents.
Police said, "Following a tip off a police party led by SHO P/S Lakhanpur, laid down a naka at Lakhanpur Yard near Sale Tax Office and questioned one person. "Police during personal search of suspect Vijay Kumar R/O Ward No 09 Kathua recovered 180 Nos intoxicant capsules (Par-van-Spas) from his possession, police said further adding, “ a case FIR No 13/2012, U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at P/S Lakhanpur. Meanwhile police during patrolling near Shaheedi Chowk, Kathua apprehended one person Mohit Kumar @ Munna R/O Ward No. 2 Kathua. During his personal search police recovered 293 Nos capsules of Par-van-Spas from his possession. A case FIR No. 82/2012, U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act. Stands registered at P/S Kathua. |
