| Randhir constituted Aromatic, Vegetable Association | | | JAMMU | JAN 20
President Aromatic Plants Growers Association of India Thakur Randhir Singh has announced formation of an Association on Aromatic, Vegetable and other horticulture commodities of kandi belt of Kathua district and authorized it to organize awareness programs about the importance of these and other plants as also to organize public movement against pollution being created by brick kilns and the highly polluted industries.
The Association with Ranjeev Singh as President will have Kulbir Singh as Chief Organizer, Mahatam Singh as Vice President, Pradeep Singh as General Secretary and Randeep Singh as Joint Secretary. Apart from Shammi Sharma as Treasurer, the Association will have 14 other members, a handout said.
Interacting with the Association members, Randhir Singh has assured them that he would organize the tour of the progressive farmers of the kandi area to Indian Agricultural Research Institute Pusa New Delhi to have inter action with the scientists to know about the latest scientific research in the field of agriculture and also one day awareness program at village Logate by the National Horticulture Board Union Ministry of Agriculture and said that he would himself attend the function. |
