Range Level Talent Hunt "Choona Hai Aasman" Season-2 held at Rajouri

RAJOURI, Feb 25: A talent hunt "Choona Hai Aasman season -2" was organized by Range Police Hqrs. Rajouri at District Police Lines Rajouri under Civic Action Programme.
The Programme was organized under the supervision of Mr. Rajesh Kumar IPS DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range.
Out of 13 contestants, 07 were selected for next phase of competition i.e Zone Level competition which will be organized by IGP Jammu Zone Jammu and selected candidates from Rajouri-Poonch Districts will participate in Zone level competition.
The participants selected by panel of judges in view of their excellent performance in their respective field of art are Syed Mehran Shah Solo Song(Sufi), Akash Zutshi Tabla (Instrument), Alisha and Arti Group Dance, Abrar Rathar Solo Dance, Trishant Kartar Solo Song, Astha Sharma Solo Dance and Vanshika Sharma Solo Dance.
The jury for the said function comprised of Ayaz Khan, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Sanjeev Gupta, Culture Officer Rajouri and Bharat Bhushan Zonal Sports Officer.
In the function Asif Sagar Conservator Forest was the chief guest while Rajesh Kumar IPS DIG R-P Range presided over the function.
G.A Khawaja Deputy Commissioner Rajouri and Vijay Singh Sambyal Senior Supdt. of Police Rajouri were guest of honour besides Addl. DC Matloob Khan was also present.
The people who witnessed the programme " Choona hai Aasman" have appreciated the skill of participants and lauded the role of Police for organising such programmes. Cash reward of rupees two thousand and certificates were given to selected contestants by Rajesh Kumar DIG R-P Range Hqrs. Rajouri.
DIG Rajouri Rajesh Kumar, Conservator Forest Officer Asif Sagar, SSP Rajouri Vijay Singh Sambyal and DC Rajouri Sh. G.A. Khawaja spoke on the occasion and highlighted the importance of Talent Hunt.
Dr. Alamdar performed duty of stage secretary whereas Addl. SP Rajouri Mohd Shabir extended the vote of thanks to the participants.
