| State Judicial Academy organizes orientation programme | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 25: In order to strengthen the functioning of different tiers of judicial system, the J&K State Judicial Academy organized an orientation programme for Nazirs of subordinate courts of Jammu and Samba districts and High Court wing Jammu today at High Court complex, Jammu.
J.N. Koul, Retd. Deputy Director, Finance Department, was the main resource person.
He impressed upon the participants to adhere to the principles of financial management in discharge of their functions as Nazirs/Accounts Officers of the court.
He informed the provisions of budget manual and also how to project their requirements while framing the budgets of their respective offices.
Participants actively interacted and participated in the healthy discussion on different aspects of the financial Code and budget.
Speaking on the occasion, Suresh Kumar Sharma, Director State Judicial Academy stressed upon the participants to update their knowledge with regard to the provisions of the financial code and other relevant acts to bring about the efficiency in their working so as to improve the judicial system. |
