| Chairman convenes BAC meet | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 25: Meeting of Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of Legislative Council was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Legislative Council (LC) Amrit Malhotra here today. Minister of state for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Ajaz Khan, legislators, Vijay Bakaya, Murtaza Khan, Jehangir Mir, Asgar Ali, Khalid Najib Suhrawardy besides Secretary Council, Mohammad Ashraf, Special Secretary, Law and other officers of Council Secretariat attended the meeting. It was decided in the meeting that there will be no business on March 2 and March 10 and the business scheduled for March 12 will be on April 3.
BAC also decided that the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah will reply on the motion of thanks on Governor's Address on Tuesday, February 28 in second sitting. Committee also extended business upto April 5. It was decided that there will be discussion on working of Ministry on April 2 and 3 and government business will be conducted on April 4 and 5. |
