| Increase in honorarium of Lambardars, Chowkidars under active consideration: Bhalla | | Assembly-2012 | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 25 : Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla has said that government is committed to enhance honorarium to Lambardars and Chow kidars of the state.
Replying to a question by Lal Chand today in the Legislative Assembly, the Minister said that the proposal for enhancement of honorarium to Lambardars and Chowkidars is under active consideration of the government.
In reply to another question by Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, the Minister informed the House that the report of the Committee constituted for carving out new Tehsils, Blocks and Niabats has been received and is under examination of the government for appropriate action.
Bhalla said that setting up of new administrative units at Arizal and Waterhail areas is also under examination of the government. |
