| Prize distribution function held by Nav Adarsh academy | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA , Feb 25 : An impressive Kavi Samelan and Academic Prize Distribution organized by the Nav Adarsh Academy Kathua in the premises of the school .
The programme was started with candling followed by Saraswati Vandana and welcome address was presented by the vice principal of the school Lalita Katal.
The programme was graced with the presentation of the poems by the famous senior most poet of the Kathua namely Dr. Usha Monga, Vijay Sharma, R.S Katal, T.R Sumbria, Tarsem Mahajan and Ramesh Singh Gehloch while the students of this school namely Shubham Sharma, Rashmi, Diksha, Ritesh Katal, Kanav and Pranav, Nishant Sharma, Rom Harshan, Varun, Rahul Sharma and Ranjana who also joined the Kavi Samelan and presented their beautiful poems.
To encourage the students the Chief Education Officer Kathua K K Gupta was the chief guest while District Education Officer Dhantar Singh and J&K Bank Manager Daleep Singh Katal both were the guest of honour.
While addressing the audience K K Gupta appreciated the performance presented by the students and said the student community is the pillar of the nation on which the future of human society is squarely dependent so it becomes the morale duty of teachers and along with entire staff of the institution to put the entire focus on the development and upliftment on the student community.
On the occasion the academic prize distribution function was also conducted in which 43 meritorious students for sessions 2010-2011 were awarded by the school management through chief guest. At last the principal of the school G.S Katal delivered the vote of thanks. |
