Jammu's little star shines at 'Colors' | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 25: Eight-year old Sohi Sharma of Jammu has shot herself to fame by getting selected and performing exceptionally well in the reality show for children by Colors channel 'Chotey Miyan Chapter III' which maiden episode was telecast Saturday. Sohi, daughter of Renu Sharma, a noted theater artist and Jai Bharat, a wrestling coach in the Department of Sports, University of Jammu has given breath taking performances in the celebrated plays of Natrang such as Ghumayee and Bawa Jitto. She was selected in the preliminary auditions held in Jammu by the channel and shortlist amongst twelve other children selected from across the country in Mumbai. A student of Delhi Public school Jammu, Sohi has been astonishing big names of the industry like film star Sachin, who is also a judge at the show along with tinsel queen Mahima Choudhary by her performances. She is the youngest of the competitors and is competing with the likes of Tanmay Chaturvedi (Sa Re Ga Ma fame), Swasti (Chak Doom Dhoom fame) and Jayesh, a seasoned child artist. "We attribute the performance and what-ever little Sohi has achieved to the blessings of Vaishno Devi and dedication and commitment of her mother" said Jai Bharat, who is visiting Jammu in the middle of tight shooting schedule. He also expressed his gratitude to her teachers and mentors at School. |
