| Legal Awareness camp, Lok adalat held at Ramnagar | | | Sarita Jamwal
Udhampur, Feb 25: A legal awareness camp cum Lok Adalat was held today in the court complex of Sub Judge Ramnagar .The camp cum Lok Adalat was organized under the aegis of Tehsil legal services committee Ramnagar.
In a major initiative to cut down the judicial backlog, and with the aim to bring speedy justice at the door step of rural masses in Ramnagar Tehsil a Lok Adalat was held under the chairmanship of Ms Sandeep Kour Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee (Sub Judge) Ramnagar .
In the Lok Adalat held today total 07 case of Criminal and civil nature were decided on spot.
Speaking on the occasion Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee made people aware about their legal rights. She also talked about legal aid to the needy, and ways how to get free legal aid. She also imparted awareness to the people as to how an innocent, under privileged, poor as well as helpless person can avail the legal aids in order to seek rightful justice. Beside others, Bar members, litigants and large number of public participated in the awareness camp and Lok Adalat . |
