| SPO killed, brother injured as mini bus turns turtle in Jammu | | | early times report
Jammu, Feb 25: A Special Police Officer (SPO) of Jammu and Kas-hmir Police Department was killed and his brother critically injured when a rashly driven mini bus turned turtle near Domana area on city outskirts of this winter capital, sources here said.
"SPO identified as Rahul Sharma, resident of Poonch, at present Dom-ana, was killed while his brother Rohit Sharma suffered a head injury when a mini bus on way from Domana to bus stand overturned near Muthi area," a police source her told.
He said the brother of the deceased is also a SPO in state police adding, "both the boys were representing Jammu and Kashmir Police boxing team."
The body has been shifted to his native place in Poonch for last rites while a case has been registered and investigations are in progress. |
