| Artesians' awareness camp organized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Samba, Feb 25: One day awareness camp/workshop of Handicrafts artisans members of Cooperative Societies of Samba district was held on here toady. Camp organized by the Dy.Registrar Induscos, Jammu with the collaboration of Industrial Cooperative Societies of Samba District was inaugurated by Sarwar Hussain Shah who was the chief guest.
The said camp was organized with an objective to create .awareness amongst the Artisans/Members of the Industrial Coop. Societies and masses in generally especially the women folk about the schemes lunched by the State Govt as well as Govt of India. Asstt Registrar Induscos, Samba Madan Kumar and Mohd Iqbal Handicrafts Trg Officer, Samba and Officers of various Departments spoke on the occasion as resource persons.
Earlier speaking on the occasion the chief Guest stressed upon the artisans/participants to come forward and affiliate with the Handicrafts activities and avail the benefits of the Handicrafts Schemes. The Spranch and Lambardar of the Village also present in the camp and appreciated the efforts made by the Department for organizing such camps/workshop for the welfare of the people of the area. |
