Farooq asks youth to channelize energies in right prospective

Katra, Feb 26: Union Minister for power renewable energy Farooq Abdullah has asked the cadets of Bharat Scouts and Guides to work for betterment of the society by bringing awareness about health hazards and social evils.
He asked youth to shun cigarette smoking and use of narcotics in order to secure future on nature of state. The union minister was received by the NC leader and his worker Sher Singh afternoon at helipad katra.
Farooq was addressing a valedictory function of three days Bharat Scouts and Guides camp held at Katra.
Minister for medical education, youth services and sports, R S Chib was also present on occasion. Farooq impressed upon the youth to channelise their energies in right perspective and make the state proud of their contribution in strengthening the bonds of communal harmony and brother hood among various sections of the society.
Minister for medical education while addressing the function expressed his gratitude to the union minister Farooq for sparing his precious time to attend the valedictory function. He hoped that the youth connected with mission will continue for strengthening patriotic spirit and also in imbibing the sense of discipline among various cadres. Around 235 trainees and trainers from various parts of the state were drawn to attend the three days camp at Katra.
A scintillating cultural bonanza was presented by the students on the occasion for which union minister awarded Rs 20,000 as a token of appreciation to the participating youth. The dignitaries distributed prizes among the participants of the camp.
The function was among other attended by adl.CEO, Mata Vaishno Shrine Board, M K Bhandari,D I G,Udhampur-Reasi Jagit Kumar,Adl.DC Reasi,RS Tara,Commissioner Scouts and Guides, ID Soni and NC leader Sher Singh. In a private meet for about 30 minutes .Party leader Sher Singh discussed various demands for Katra town Reasi, Mahore, Chasana, Chinkah, Pouni, Shiv Khori and Ransoo Farooq assured Sher Singh that such type of grievances and demands will be discussed with CM of state J&K personally. Abdullah thanked Sher Singh for highlighting such demands.
In a face to face segment at Katra multimedia team head Sushil Sharma with Sher Singh NC leader about the demands. NC leader discussed all demands which he demanded from Abdullah for the betterment and development of Katra town and other parts of Reasi district. In a face to face question by team head to Sher Singh about the future plan he said he will work for the down trodden, helpless, poor and weaker society for the Reasi people.
He further said that he will bring more and more ministers inspections in the remote areas of Disst Raesi for proper Development and betterment.
