KP migrants call on Mufti Sayeed

JAMMU, Feb 26: A delegation of Kashmiri migrants from ward No 61 met with PDP patron Mufti Mohd Sayeed and apprised him about the difficulties being faced by them. Led by Parshotam Gupta, the delegation raised various issues including due representation to community, jobs to youths and providing of accommodation to those who had already joined their duties in Srinagar. One of the members of the delegation Ram Jee Pandita stressed for passage of Temple Shrine Bill to protest the temples and shrines of the Kashmiri Pandits. Mufti Mohd Sayeed gave patient hearing and assured his full support. He also said that community had faced a lot of hardships during last 20 years. The members of Kashmiri Pandit community also desired that Parshotam Gupta should contest the forth coming municipal elections as he is the right candidate who can help in the development of the ward No 61.
