| Working Group on good-governance holds | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

The working group on good-governance met under the chairmanship of N.C. Sexana here today.
The meeting was attended by Minister for Health and Medical Education Mangat Ram Sharma, Ex-Minister S Rangil Singh, BJP Vice President Hari Om, Member State Committee of CPI(M) Abdul Gani Hafiz, MLC P. Namgiyal, MLC Nizam-ud-Din, Chairman Public Service Commission M.S. Pandit, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Amarnath Vashnavi and B.A. Dar.
Five working groups to address the various issues pertaining to the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been announced by the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan singh on the conclusion of second roundtable conference at Srinagar last May and so far these groups have held eight meetings in Srinagar and Jammu.
The groups on Confidence Building Measures (CBM) is meeting here on 25th November at 4 P.M which will be the 9th meeting of the working groups.
Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh after chairing second roundtable conference at Srinagar in last week of May 2006 announced five working groups on confidence building measures, strengthening relations across LoC, economic development in the state, good-governance and strengthening of centre-state relations. |
