| Man held with charas at Batote | | | early times report
JAMMU, Feb 26: A narco-smuggler was today apprehended by police at Batote in Ramban while he was trying to smuggle charas. He was identified as Abdul Rashid Dar, son of Ali Mohammad Dar of Samshipura, Anantnag.
Dar was intercepted by police on a tip-off near a petrol pump at Tringla, Batote. His frisking led the cops to the recovery of 1.2 kg charas, according to police sources. The charas had been wrapped by him on both his legs beneath trousers he was wearing, the sources added. A case was registered against him under section 8/20 of NDPS Act at Batote police station. |
