KPs mass exodus, an unanswerable question till now: KCP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 26: National President Kashmiri Pandit Conference Kundan Kash-miri while inviting the attention of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah as well as to J&K State Assembly members on the whole towards the problems and demands of KP community, stated that Kashmiri Pandit community is victim of all sort of atrocities and their mass exodus is an unanswerable question till now. Addressing his party activists and supporters at Jammu, Kashmiri said whole KP community continue to be on cross roads and in exile from the last 22 years and are unaware about their fault for which they were punished. He further said that Govt. should look upon the present period of exile of KP community on humanitarian angle and also to seen in a wider spectrum and not with myopic vision. He further stated that whole KP community is unheard, unrepresented, ignored and isolated and have a sordid tale of total neglect living in diaspora conditionality. Highli-ghting the long pending demand of the victim community Kundan Kashmiri stated that it is paramount to constitute a commission of enquiry to probe the enmass exodus of KPs, selective killing of innocent KPs, loot and arson of their property and further demanded that KPs shrine and temple bill is to be passed in the present session of state assembly, besides KPs participation should be made mandatory in all nature of dialogues related to Kashmir issue. Age relaxation to KP youths and allotment of shops at Jagti Township and others also needs urgent attention. KPC chief condemned the Govt for not releasing advance relief on the eve of Mahashivratri festival to displaced KPs who have no any other source of income other than this meagre relief provided by the Government. |
