| Man burnt alive as house catches fire | | | early times report
RAJOURI, Feb 26: A man was burnt to death after his house caught fire at Trat in Nowshera area here last night. Official sources said fire engulfed the house of Jia Lal, son of Bhagat Ram, at Trat at about 10.30 pm Saturday as a result of which he was roasted alive.
Three cows, four goats and one ox were also burnt, the sources added. Sources said the fire started from the dry grass kept in a corner of the house for the consumption of animals and soon engulfed the whole structure. The fire was later extinguished by the fire tenders and stopped from spreading to nearby houses.
Police had registered a case in this connection.
