POONCH, Feb 27: Marshall Club beat Glamorous Club in the ongoing Poonch Premier League (PPL) Cricket tournament being organized by Romeo Force under Operation Sadhbhawana. Batting first, Marshall scored 167runs in 20 over, while glamorous was bowled out for 130 runs. Prince was declared man of the match for his 3 wickets and 27 runs.
In second match, Habib Club bt Malik Club. Habib scored 116 runs and bowled out Malik Club for 80 runs, Aasif was declared man of the match.In 3rd match Poonch Royal bt LOC Club. Poonch Royal club made 147 in 20 and bowled out Tigers for 98 runs. Wasim Raja was declared man of the match for his 37 runs.
Sham Lal Sharma, NIS Hockey Coach was the chief guest, who gave away the Man of Match Awards. The tournament is being played under the supervision of Colonel Munish Kumar, CO 39 RR. Semi-finals will be played tomorrow. |
