| Srinagar Carrom meet gets underway | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 27: Organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Carrom Association, the District Srinagar Championship was declared open by Association president, Avtar Singh at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, here today.
In this tournament, competition shall be held in all the three age groups of sub-junior, junior and seniors of both boys and girls. The opening day witnessed competition in boys section while only one match played in girls' category.
Among others present in the opening function were Association vice-president, Adil Rashid Shah and other officials.
The Detailed Results: Senior boys: Hilal Ahmad Khan bt Naseer Ahmad; Umer Showkat bt Amandeep Singh, Waseen u Din bt Irshad Ahmed Lone; Yasir Afzal bt Wahid Ahmad Wani. Junior boys: M Hammad bt Ajel Dayan; Arib Majeed bt Ashfaq Yasin; Obaid Reshi bt Abidullah Noorani; Danish Mushtaq bt Numan Feroz.
