| Bharat college of Education celebrate sports Day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Feb 27: Bharat college of Education celebrated sports Day in its premises where B Ed students participated in different activities today on Monday. Dr. RC Bhagat , Director of the college addressed the students before the events and counted the importance of games and sports in students ' life Neeraj Pathania, lecturer and organizer of the Sports competition instructed about the rule and regulation of the events in the Day. She said that Sports are the part of co-curricular activities which import not only for the allround development but also the academic development of the students.
There are several activities in which Santosh, Harpreet got first position in carom, Santosh again stood first in 200 mtrs race whereas Poonam and Renu Barki shared second and third place,Monika , Vishaligot first position in Lemon race but Neelam and Mamta had to satisfiy with Second place and Rohee and Satinder stood in third place. Students shown keen interest in Third Leg race where Reena and Neency got first place and Monika and Poonam stood in second place. Vijay and Reena Khajuria won Badminton match in double after a long tough competition.
In the end Dr. RC BHagat and other staff members distributed the prizes and refreshment to the participants and promised to organize the programme in future so that they can contribute to divert the attention of the youth from drug eradication to physical development.
