| Demanded early completion of projects, extension of road | | Marwah, Dachan, Machil, Warwan, Padder Deputation call on the Minister | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 27: A deputation of Panches and Sarpanches of Kishtwar, Marwah, Dachan, Padder and Warwan blocks, headed by MLA, Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo, today called on the Minister of State for R&B, Health and Medical Education, Javed Ahmad Dar and apprised him about the road connectivity issues of the area.
The deputation demanded construction of road from Yardu to Dhema besides Purana Bridge and Yardu bridge to ease the difficulties of the people. The deputation also thanked the Minister for approving Dozer, Load carrier and Hydraulic Tracked Excavator and said that provision of machinery would go a long way in ensuring early completion of the road projects. They pleaded for acceleration on underway projects coming up in the district.While appreciating the gesture of the Government, especially the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for taking three roads projects, which included road from Purana kadal to Marwah, Ikhala to Dachan and Gulabgarh to Machil for the district, the deputation demanded extension of Purana Kadal road up to Hanzal and acceleration on Ikhala-Dechan road. Sarpa nches, Mohamad Ramzan Malik, Mohammad Shaban Sh eikh, Nazir Ahmad, Ghulam Mustafa, Ghulam Ali, Rada krishan. Abdul Razak besides the functionaries of NC which included Ghulam Mohammad Lone, Bashir Ahmad lone, Kartar Singh Rathore and Rajinder Sen were the part of the delegation. |
