| PHE workers begin protest dharna | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Feb 27: The PHE Workers Welfare Association Division Kathua began its three day protest dharna under the leadership of Joginder Singh district president of the association in the premises of the office of the PHE Kathua.
While speaking on the occasion Joginder said that the state coalition Govt has adopted callous attitude towards the interests of PHE employees who are suffering since long till date. He said our genuine long pending demands are deliberately ignored and sidelined for the reasons best known to the authorities. Our basic and fundamental demands are such as to provide the same wages @ Rs125 to all the Daily Wagers and release the long pending dues. To give the status of Daily wagers to 13957 workers who are working in the department since 2005 and regularize on the pattern of Reharbar-e- Taleem scheme to all the daily wagers who have completed five years in service in the department. |
