| Lok Adalat held at Kathua | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Feb 28 : A Lok Adalat was held in the District Court Complex Kathua under the Chairmanship of A.K. Sharma Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District and Sessions Judge) Kathua consisted of two benches. The Bench No.1 presided over by A. K. Sharma, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District and Sessions Judge) Kathua and assisted by Puneet Gupta Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Kathua. The bench No.2 was comprised of S. C. Katal, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kathua and Y.P. Sharma Distt. Mobile Magistrate Kathua. The bench No.1 took MACT, Civil, and Criminal Revision under section 488 Cr. P.C Bank cases and Hindu marriage Act cases. 20 cases were taken up out of which 4 cases were decided and award money of Rs 4,30,000/- was ordered to be paid to the claimants. The bench No.2 decided 8 criminal cases, petty and compoundable cases. The total 12 cases were disposed off. The next Lok Adalat scheduled to be held on 28th of March 2012. |
