| PHE Workers stage dharna, raise various demands | | | Early Times Report
POONCH, Feb 28: To intensify the fight of the PHE employees for fulfilment of their demands and to express their solidarity with them, the PHE Workers Welfare Employees Association started a three day long dharna here today. A large number of Daily wagers workers and CP Workers, ITI trained electricians, Plumbers and regular field staff from different corner assembled at PHE Complex at 11 am. The proceeding took place under the chairman ship of the district President Mohd Zaman Khan. Others, who addressed the gathering including chairman Nazir Hussain, Khadam Hussain Sheikh, Abdul Hamid Khan Babu Khan, Zakar Hussain Rathoor, Abdul Rehman and other highlighted the problems faced by the employees and laid stress on the regularization of daily wagers in light of SRO 64, enhancement of wages in favour of CP workers and ITI trained Diploma holder from Rs 125 to 250, regularization of ITI Diploma Holder after 5 years of service and reorganization of all the PHE department as per norms of the Agriculture, Horticulture, Education and other departments, allotment of post of different cadre in division Poonch, enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years and conducting of DPC and time bound Promotion cases at District Level. |
