| HC directs dir edu to review suspension of 6 teachers | | |

JAMMU, Feb 28: Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir of the state high court has directed director school education, Jammu, to review suspension orders of six teachers of Kishtwar.
The court directive came today in a writ petition filed by Bodh Raj and five other teachers. In the petition, they alleged that they had been suspended at the behest of MLA (Inderwal) G M Saroori without any reason.
Justice Mir, after hearing the counsels for the petitioner, issued notice to the state through commissioner/secretary education, director school education, chief education officer, Kishtwar, ZEO, Drabshalla, and MLA Saroori returnable within two weeks.
In the meantime, the court directed the director school education to review the suspension orders of the six teachers and release their salary. |
