| Lal Singh Donates College Bus to Degree College Hiranagar | | | Hiranagar, 28 Feb: Hon'ble MP, Ch. Lal Singh donated a college bus to Girdari Lal Dogra Memorial Degree College Hiranagar from his MPLADS Fund. The college organized a cultural program to mark this occasion. The Principal of the college, Dr. Ramkrishan, in his address expressed his gratitude for the kindness shown by the Hon'ble MP. The girls of the college presented Dogri folk dance and Krishan Leela which was appreciated by the Hon'ble MP. In his speech he exhorted the students to work hard and be socially active. He said that they are the future citizens of this country and democracy can flourish only if its citizens, its youth are socially active.
He promised that he will do everything for the development of the college. He donated the Bus with the motive that the students of Border and far flung area can reach the college easily. The proceeding of the function was carried out by Prof. Rachna and Prof. Shalini Rana. Vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Balbir Kumar. |
