Climbing camps for schools from March 2 | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 28: To promote the game of sport climbing by way of encouraging fresh talent, Tawi Trekkers Jammu and Kashmir has decided to hold coaching camp-cum-competitions for different schools of the city. The activity has been planned at Tenzing Norgay Sport Climbing Wall in the premises of Sprawling Buds School in Bantalab, here from March two. "This day-long coaching-cum-competition, to be organised twice a week, shall help each school to prepare the young boys and girls for forthcoming district and state competitions. The coaching shall be imparted by senior national climbers under the supervision of qualified judges," informed general secretary of the Club, Ram Khajuria. The Club has planned first such camp for the students of Sprawling Buds School, Chinore in Bantalab on March two. Schools desirous of deputing their students to such competitions may contact office of the Club at 75-76, Sarwal Colony, here or contact Mr Sonam Sidharth at Mobile No. 9596862186. The fee for the day long camp, including light refreshment, is Rs. 100 per participant. |
