'Tainted' person as head of institute unacceptable: BJYM | Sanskrit Sansthan principal's appointment row | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 28: Youth of Jammu particularly the students will not tolerate a 'tainted' person as a head of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (A Deemed University) at Kot Bhalwal, Jammu This was stated by State President Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Munish Sharma. Sharma was addressing a huge rally of students of Ranbir Campus of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan. BJYM State President assured the agitating students that the party will take up the matter with state and central governments regarding their genuine and just demand. He further said that present Principal of the Institute is competent and scholar-par-excellence beside known administrator and teacher. Sansthan needs the stewardship of such personality. Unfortunately, the office of the Chancellor has chosen to appoint a tainted person as Principal of the Sansthan's Jammu campus. The new incumbent is involved so many cases and inquiries are pending against him, he alleged. Addressing the gathering, BJYM State Vice-President Vipin Shastri said that party will not remain silent spectator to this conspiracy of spoiling the careers of Sanskrit students. Both the leaders appealed to BJYM National President and MP Anurag Thakur to take up the matter with Human Resources Devel-opment Minister Kapil Sibal. |
