| Azad announces community hall for Doda town | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 29: Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad has announced construction of a community hall in Doda town.MLA Doda Abdul Majid Wani today thanked the Union Minister for the announcement of the prestigious project.The much demanded project shall be constructed at a cost between Rs 2 - 3 crores of rupees on the same line of Bhaderwah town. Deputy Commissioner Doda has been asked by the Union Minister for Health identify piece of land wherein the proposed community hall building shall be located.Expressing his gratitude towards the son of soil Ghulam Nabi Azad, Majid Wani said that he is quite hopeful that the state government shall take immediate measures to provide better civic facilities to people of erstwhile Doda district especially with regard to improving connectivity through roads and bridges, expediting work for construction of tunnels in Sudh Mahadev Marmat Doda Capran highway, opening of Chenab Valley University and Women's Degree Colleges/ schools and separate tourism development authority for Doda. |
