| Orientation prog for Sarpanches and Panches held | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri Feb 29: "Basic Foundation Course cum Training programme' for Sarpanches and Panches was inaugurated by BDO Nowshera Rajeev Khajuria at Block headquarter. The said workshop was organized with an objective to impart knowledge and function of Panchyati Raj Act among elected representatives, power and function of Panchyat Adalat, state and centrally sponsored schemes. The resource persons drawn from Rural Development Deptt during the 24 day long workshop will provide necessary information to the sarpanches and Panches In inaugural occasion Sub Judge Nowshera, DFO Nowshera D P Gupta (Rtd ) Director Agriculture and various other personalities from Centre State Department spoke on the various subjects. As desired by Director RDD Jammu, BDO Nowshera Khajuria is personally supervising training programme. |
