| Water supply scheme Syeedpora Dhar Bagh made functional: Taj | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 29: Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Taj Mohi ud-Din in reply to the question by Sheikh Ghulam Qadir Pardesi informed the House that water supply scheme at Syeedpora Dhar Bagh has been made functional recently by way of replacement of filter media. He said there is no need for construction of new filtration plant now.
In reply to another question by Syed Mohammad Rafiq Shah, he informed the House that DPRs of 8 water supply schemes of Kralpora and Trehgam blocks are under process for formulation and shall be considered after getting the feasibility and techno economic report He said that within two years all the schemes would be completed to provide adequate drinking water supply to the people.
However, he said that major portion of Trehgam and Kralpora blocks are getting portable drinking water. |
