| SSH protest against SASB, burns effigy | | | EARLY TIMES report
Jammu, Mar 1: To lodge protest against Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) for adopting anti-Hinduism attitude towards the Shri Amarnath Yatra, a protest demonstration was organized by the activists of Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH).
The protest was led by state president SSH, Rajesh Kesari who said that it is very unfortunate that the board had failed to learn any lesson from the 2008 historical agitation and had still continue with anti-Hindu tactics and the result had curtailed the yatra period this year also.
Kesari further added, it is not the duty of board to set the time period for yatra, it is here only to provide facilities to the pilgrims visiting the holy shrine.
Since, it had failed to provide facilities to pilgrims every year as the result the big part of pilgrims avoid toperform this yatra. The organization on the occasion, burn the effigy of Chairman SASB and warned him not to interfere in yatra time period. Among other participate in protest were Shiv Kumar, Vikrant Kapoor, Vikas De-wan, Rajan Gupta, Parveen Gupta, Ashok Kumar, An-oop Trikha, Vivek Sharma, Kishore Mahajan, Varun, Rajesh Honda and others. |
