Surprise check: 48 teachers/lecturers found absent in Kishtwar

EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar, Mar 1: Cont-inuing drive against absenteeism in various High Schools/Higher Secondary schools of Kishtwar District, Deputy Commissi-oner Tehsildar Padder, Tehsildar Chatroo and Naib Tehsildar Chatroo inspected various schools in their jurisdiction and found 48 Lecturers /Teachers absent from duties in an unauthorized manner.
"Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Hussain Malik, Tehsildar Padder, Tehsildar Chatroo and Naib Tehsildar Chatroo conducted surprise inspection of various educational institutions, official spokesperson said.
The Principals /Headmasters have been directed to ask the absentees to immediately report for duty and seek explanations as to why action is not taken against them.
