Crime Branch books four bogus finance companies | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 1: Crime Branch (CB), Jammu has registered a case against the proprietors of M/s Right Ways Finance Corporation, M/s Aman Trading Corpora-tion, M/s The Great India Hire Purchase Corporation and M/s Super Trading Corporation for allegedly duping people in the name of paying higher rates of interests on their deposited money. The Crime Branch had received two written complaints lodged by Dev Raj Parihar son of Dina Nath Parihar of Bhaderwah presently Swarn Vihar, Police Colony near Durga Nagar, Jammu and Joginder Singh son of Sadhu Singh of Simbal Camp, RS Pura, Jammu wherein it was alleged by them that they were cheated by the persons namely Janak Singh son of Jagbir Singh of 16-A/C Bhawani Nagar, Jammu and others. The complainants alleged that Janak and others lured them to invest their hard earned money in the finance companies run by them with the promise that in return, they will pay the interest/ profit at the rate of 12 percent per annum on the deposited money. Accordingly, they deposited their hard earned money in the finance companies run by Janak and his associates which subsequently was misappropriated by the proprietors of these companies. The suspects after collecting crores of rupees from investors closed their false/fictitious finance companies and went underground. On receipt of these complaints, an enquiry was initiated in Crime Branch, Jammu and during the course of enquiry, it was established that Janak Singh his wife Inderjeet Kour, Jagjit Singh son of Jagbir Singh, Agya Kour wife of Jagbir Singh of H No 153/3, Basant Vihar Extension Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, Darbari Lal son of Chattar Singh of R S Pura, Jammu and their associates were running various finance companies under the name and style of M/s Right Ways Finance Corporation, M/s Aman Trading Corporation, M/s The Great India Hire Purchase Corporation and M/s Super Trading Corporation who in conspiracy with each other collected huge amounts from various investors and then wound up their fake/fictitious finance companies thereby duping/depriving the innocent investors of their hard earned money running in crores. A case stands registered against FIR No 6/2012 u/s 406, 420, 465, 466, 467, 471, 120-B RPC at P/S Crime Branch, Jammu while further investigation is in progress. |
