SRTC driver's mysterious death worked out, wife, paramour held

Samba, Mar 1: "Police have solved the mysterious murder of the State Road Tranport Corporation (SRTC) driver with the arrest of deceased wife and her paramour, police sources said.
Police sources said that the duo after committing murder of SRTC driver shifted the body in a vehicle in Thandi Khui area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur last month. "The identification of the two accused has been established as Vicky, a domestic servant and Sureekha Devi, wife of the deceased, sources said further adding, "a case under section 302 RPC has been registered against them with the Samba police." It is pertinent to mention here that on Feb 9, the panic gripped the Thandi Khui area after body was recovered from a vehicle in the area. Thereafter the identification of the deceased was established as Sunil Singh 35 son of Rumal Singh of Nud Samba. As soon as the information reached to police the police team reached the spot and shifted the body to Ramgarh Hospital for autopsy and registered a case under section 174 RPC and started investigations. However Police also seized the vehicle bearing registration number JK02Y-0170 in which the body was recovered. Well informed sources with in police said that during investigation it was found out that the Sunil Singh, SRTC driver, was murdered by his wife and his domestic servant under a well hatched conspiracy. "The disclosure was made by the wife of the deceased who during questioning broke down. She told that her husband who used to be a habitual drinker beat her, police sources said. Police said that on the intervening night of Feb 8/9 when he was beating her she called their servant Vicky, (with whom she had physical relationship), jumped over her husband who fell down resulting into a some fatal injuries consequently death to her husband. "The duo put the body of the deceased in a van and the same was parked in Thandi Khui area, sources said.
