| JTC, SKF demand enhancement of cash relief for migrants | | |

Jammu, Mar 1: A joint meeting of the office bearers and members of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held here today under the presidentship of its president SL Pandita. Various problems being faced by the Kashmiri Pandit migrant committee were discussed in detail during the meeting.
During the meeting it was said that the present cash assistance relief to the migrants is meagre which does not meet the domestic needs of a particular migrant family as such necessity has arisen for enhancement of the cash Assistant relief in favour of the migrants.
BL Raina Chairman of JTC and CL Pandita Chairman of Soan Kashmir while speaking in the meeting appealed the government to advertise the remaining posts under Prime Minister's employment package for absorbing the educated migrant youth in Government departments besides the posts reserved from the previous lot may also be filled out of the candidates in the waiting list. |
