| Cross LoC traders hold meet at Chakan the Bagh | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Mar 1: Cross LoC Traders from both sides today met at Chakan da Bagh with an aim to resolve disputes so that the trade may continue to flourish ahead. The meeting in which 126 traders from two sides participated after marathon discussions, settled 21 account cases, besides this they also deliberated upon various issues pertaining to cross LoC trade.
Speaking on the occasion President Poonch -Rawlakote Traders Association President Pawan Anand said, "Maximum traders from Indian side reached and settled their dispute with their counterparts but defaulters from POK did not attend the meeting which is a cause of concern."
"Another meeting would be organized for the defaulters only soon" He added. "Since the commencement of Poonch Rawlakote Trade, we have been facing many problems but due to lack of connectivity and banking facility which has rendered loss to many traders", said ,Mohd Asgari ,a Cross LoC trader. Director General Trade PoK Mohd Ismail said, "There is a great scope of including new items in the Cross LOC Trade ,which both the governments need to include the trade items list.
