| Agriculture technocrats extend support to hunger strikers | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Mar 2: Agriculture Technocrats of District Poonch, has extended full support to the hunger strike launched by Jammu Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) and JK Agriculture Technocrats United Front (JKATUF) here today. The meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Vishal Sharma.
He said, "We are completely supporting our association and what we are demanding, is our genuine rights.
The eligibility criteria for a RET Teacher is 10+2 and on completing five years of service, govt. regularize them", adding further "So why this injustice with our fraternity as we are Graduates and Post Graduates and this govt. decision of regularization of our services after seven, eight and nine respectively, is a complete injustice with us."
He said, "We strongly appeal to govt. to amend this decision to provide justice to us. Some of the REZ's have now become over aged and its difficult to meet both ends meet on meager stipend we are receiving", he said and further added, "If govt. fails to amend the decision, the whole fraternity under the banner of Jammu Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) will intensify the struggle to get justice in our favour". |
