| Eurocare celebrates grand Parents day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , Mar 2: It was literally a grand day for the tiny tots of Euro Care-Pre schooling systems where 'Grand Parents' day was celebrated with great pomp and show.
It was for the first time that such an event was organised for the grand parents and it received huge response and applause.
The Chief guest of the function was Mrs Nandini N Suresh, Wife of Airport Director,Jammu.
It is generally observed that in the present times, owing to various compulsions, the concept of composite family has changed paving way for nuclear families.This has resulted in weakening of bonds between the family members.
Realising the importance of forging strong bonds between the grand parents and the tiny tots Euro Care decided to dedicate one exclusive day for them. The grand parents attended the function in large number and participated in various activities. The children presented dance items and also enacted small skits to entertain their grand parents. Special Antakhshari session and water game adding a splash of colour was organised for the grand parents. The Chief guest present on the occasion said that such events should be organised at regular frequency to strengthen the bonds between the grand parents and grand children.
