Patwar Association strike enters into second consecutive day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Rajouri, Mar 2: The ongoing strike of Patwar association today entered into its second consecutive day thereby hitting normal life in revenue department. Addressing this protestors, chairperson of association said that they are on peaceful protest just in favour of their demands which are lying unfulfilled from a large period of time. He also raised demands some important one are of giving technical grades to patwaris, promotion of gurdawars, to stop direct recruitment on the post of naib-tehsildar, construction of patwar khanas. These employees also said if government will not pay due attention towards their demands than they can announce further strikes after the completion of ongoing three days continuous strike. Meanwhile employees gathered under the leadership of Vice-president of Patwar Association Sunderbani, Niaz Ahmed Malik and demanded immediate redressal of their demands. Others who were present on this occassion were Parshotam Singh, Annayat-ullah-khan, Tara Chand, Aftab Ahmed, Ajay Paul Singh, Khurshid-ul-Islam, Rattan Lal, Raghuvir Singh and others. |
