Jammu, Mar 2: Under instructions from K L Khajuria Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Jammu, the team of Health & Enforcement Wing of Jammu Municipal Corporation led by Vinod Sharma Health Officer and Satish Khajuria Chief Enforcement Officer seized a major consignment of polythene carry bags concealed in 46 bags measuring about 30 quntails from Railway Station.
Official spokesperson stated that the said drive has been conducted with the help and active co-operation of Police Force provided by Raghubir Singh Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Railways Jammu.
Meanwhile Enforcement Staff of Jammu Municipal Corporation led by Chief Enforcement Officer with the help of police force from Gandhi Nagar Police Station and District police lines undertook the Anti Encorachment drive to clear the footpaths / pavements, parts of road sides in the areas of Nanak Nagar, Bikram Chowk Jammu. During the drive the team seized materials / goods/ articles like Blankets, Racks , Drums, Utensils, Gas Bhatties, Footwears, Containers, Folding Beds, Hardware Items, Packed water Bottle etc which were kept by the shopkeepers / vendors by encroaching upon footpaths / pavements on road sides etc thereby causing inconvenience to the pedestrians and also creating obstruction in the free movements of vehicular traffic. |
