| Safai karamcharis protest against government's callous attitude | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Mar 2: Safai Karamchari held a massive protest demonstration at Lakhanpur against the callous attitude of the state coalition Govt towards the long pending genuine demands of the Safai Karamchari.
The protest was led by the president of the Safai Karamchari Union Urban Local Body Sawan Chidda and termed the state coalition Govt as duff and deaf which has developed undemocratic tendencies in order to harass the common man of the state.
He said that we Safai Karamchari have been fighting for the regularization of daily-wagers who have completed their tenure more than seven year in service in municipal councils but the state Govt has nothing to give false and baseless fake assurance on several occasions with us in case of solving their demands.
In protest demonstration the other Lakhanpur president William, Samba President Ravi Kumar, Hiranagar president Papu, Vijaypur president Gulzar, Baribrahmna president Raghuveer, Jodiya president Kashavden, Khore president Titu, Subash, and Tarsem were also present.
They said that the state Govt should directly intervene into the matter in order to address their long pending genuine demands of the safaikaramchari for which they have started their struggle. In this context the state Govt should not be sleep over both the problems of garbage and the demands of the Safai Karamchari. |
