State Govt has forsaken future of agriculture technocrats

Jammu, Mar 2: Jammu Former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh NCP Chief Jammu and Kashmir who is also national President Aromatic and Medicinal Plants Growers Association of India and closely connected with ICAR said in a statement issued here on striking Agriculture Technocrates and regretted that state govt has not been able to utilize their specialization which could bring a green revolution in the field of Horticulture and Agriculture commodities and particularly in Aromatic and Medicinal plants which are in abundant in state of Jammu and Kashmir .
Singh who recently attended the National Horticulture Conference at New Delhi on 17th Feb,2012 where officials from all the states and representatives of all growers Associations participated in the conference and the conference inaugurated by Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar . He appealed the young Chief minister of state besides other issues state is facing the most vital and important issue is of these striking Agriculture Technocrates and he may handle personally and assured both the striking and the state govt to get whatever the possible help from the Union Agriculture Ministry we must try jointly Mr Singh offered his services Singh has formed a committee of senior NCP office bearers who are Technocrates to meet the striking Technocrates and support them . The committee will be headed by R S Billowaria, J A Khan and other included in the committee are Sham singh, Rajinder Koul,Balbir Singh and Shanti Prakash Shan.
