Graph of militancy down by 50%: Khoda | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Mar 2 : Director General Police, Kuldeep Khoda Friday claimed that there was 50 percent decrease in militancy related incidents in Kashmir. Addressing a pssout parade in Mnigam Police Training School in Ganderbal, Khoda said, "There has been decline in militancy related incidents and compared to last years, there has been decline of 43 percent. Due to this killings have also gone down." The DGP said that police is being trained in cyber related crimes so that ATM fraud, Credit Card fraud and similar frauds can be tackled. "Jammu and Kashmir police has earned a distinction in the whole country," he added. Minister of State for Home, Nasir Aslam Wani who took salute on march pass on the occasion assured that no Kashmiri will be harassed in outside states. "Kashmiris who are living in outside states will not be harassed at any cost. They should not feel insecure," he asserted. However, Wani said that one who will be involved in any militancy related activity won't be spared. "One who will be involved in any militancy related case will have to face music," he said in reference to the arrest of three alleged LeT militants in New Delhi. Wani asked the police to work in close coordination with people. |
