| Natrang Staging World Famous Comedy Play 'Bichoo' this Sunday | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 2 : In its constant effort to bring cultural renaissance in the State, Natrang has come up with a new play 'Bichoo' originally written in French by Moliere and directed by Sumeet Sharma.
The play would be staged on Sunday, 4thof March 2012 at Abhinav Theatre Jammu at 5:30 pm. This has been informed by Balwant Thakur, director Natrang in a press briefing.
The play is a satirical comedy which has created the ripples of laughter in many countries of the world and has been performed in different languages and different styles and this presentation of Natrang will defiantly be a delight to watch.
Natrang has presented a variegated variety of plays of different genres in its Sunday Theatre Series which is running since 2004 and this play would be a new feather in that.
Moreover for the last 30 years Natrang has produced a number of plays of high social relevance which has improved the cultural scenario of the State.
Sumeet Sharma, the director of the play has been consistently working with his own style of theatre direction and is applying the same in various self created and pre scripted plays.
He has been awarded with country's highest award for the youth in performing arts, 'Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Sangeet Natak Akademi Puraskar' for theatre direction and has successfully directed the plays like 'Mind Games', 'Kauva Chala Hans Ki Chaal', Badi Buaji', 'Crazy Kiya Ray', 'Andher Nagri Chopat Raja', 'Charandas Chor' etc. Nawang Rigzin (Hon'ble Minister for Tourism & Culture J & K Govt.) will be the Chief Guest on the occasion. Balwant Thakur extended the invitation to all the art lovers of Jammu to witness the play and make full use of their Sunday. |
