| Madan holds public Darbar | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 3 : An awareness camp cum Public Darbar was held at Badyal Brahmana R. S. Pura to aware the masses about the centrally sponsored schemes. Member Parliament Jammu Poonch Constituency Madan Lal Sharma was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Vice Chairman OBC Advisory Board Kuldeep Raj Verma and Ex-Minister Garu Ram were also present on the occasion.In the awareness camp, detailed information was provided on various Central and State Sponsored Schemes. The camp was also informed about the present status of various ongoing development projects executed in the area under flagship programme of the UPA Government.
People from the area apprised the MP about their grievances and demands which mainly include regular supply of kerosene and ration, un-interrupted power supply, safe drinking water, installation of poles at various locations, road connectivity and many other demands. MP Madan Lal gave patient hearing and assured them all their genuine demands would be redressed in a phased manner. He also gave onspot instructions to the concerned officers for redressal of various demands of the people. Sharma lauded the efforts of the State Government in pushing forward the development initiatives under various schemes for which the UPA Government is extending whole hearted financial assistance. He also appealed the people to keep a constant vigil on the quality of development works in their respective areas. |
