UDHAMPUR, Mar 3: Continuing their pen down strike for the second consecutive day under the banner of
All J&K Patwar Association, the Patwaris on Saturday did not attend their work.
Protesting Patwaris sat on dharna outside DC office, Udhampur and raised slogans in favour of their demands
The patwaris are on strike demanding removal of pay anomalies, retrospective effect, placement of qualified GQ as Naib Tehsildar in OPG, stoppage of direct recruitment of Naib Tehsildars, enhancement of chances in PSC exam from four to eight, non-inclusion of Patwaris in PSGA, Departmental Enquiry Cell and providing training to all Settlement Assistant Patwaris and enhancement in their pay. |
