| Model techniques of manuscripts reading deliberated | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 3: In the three week long workshop on manuscripts which is being organized by Deptt of Urdu, University of Jammu in collaboration with National Mission for Manuscripts, Ministry of culture, Govt. of India, Qudoos Javed Former HOD Urdu interacted with the participants of the workshop. Today's session was presided over by HoD Urdu Shohab Inayat Malik while Abdul Razique DOC, Asstt. National Mission for Manuscripts, New Delhi was also present on the occasion. While interacting with the participants of the workshop Qudoos Javed in detail threw light on the importance of Manuscripts. He informed that Manuscripts are related with the old Cultural Heritage of India. He informed the participants the model techniques of Manuscripts reading with special referenced to Levy Strauss. Javed also highlighted the especial features of Manuscripts writing in ancient age. In his Presidential address Shohab Malik thanked Qudoos Javed for providing detail informations regarding manuscripts. He informed that during three week more luminaries of Urdu would visit Jammu University and would deliver more informative lectures regarding manuscripts. The vote of thanks was presented by Adbul Razique. Near about 22 Research scholars from different parts of the state are participating in the three week long workshop on manuscripts. |
