| 'Tagore On-the-spot Painting' contest organized | | | Early Times Report
Jammu Mar 3: KC Public School student won second rank in the "Tagore On-the-spot Painting Competition" organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) at Kala Kendra, Jammu on the other day.
Spokesperson of JKAACL said that over 150 students participated from 17 prominent schools of Jammu in this competition. Rishabh Gupta, Akansha Jain, Rishab Gupta, Abhikaran Singh Pathania and Taran Singh Salaria of class XI represented KC Public School in this competition. Taran Singh Salaria bagged the 2nd position among 150 students in the age group 15-18 years. He was awarded with a Merit Certificate and a Cash Award of Rs. 600/- by the Minister for Tourism and Culture (J&K), Nawang Rigzin Jora. |
